3D Virtual Reality: Land the Spacecraft and Drive the First Rover on the Moon.

The Apollo X-ray Sky.

From archive technical documentation of the science intruments onboard the Apollo 15 Moon mission, we calculated the precise trayectory and attitude of the spacecraft during its Earth-Moon trip, we calibrated the data of its X-ray detectors and built a software to produced the first X-ray map of the sky observed during its trip. The Apollo 15 was the first of the Apollo project missions with a high focus on science and with a Lunar Rovering vehicle.

Data Analysis Tools.

A signature project delivered by Timelab in collaboration with the European Space Agency, is Stingray - DAVE, a graphical environment and library for astronomical spectra-time series analysis. The goal of this project is to boost scientific productivity by providing an integrated environment that supports the full analysis flow. It enables the scientist to modify analysis parameters and instantly grasp the impact on the full analysis. It was developed as open source, to foster broad adoption and free access.

Simulations of Landmine Detectors.

As part of our R&D projects, we use our experience with simulations using GEANT4 , a toolkit to study the passage of particle through matter, to study the feasibility of X-ray detectors to be used to image explosive material in buried landmines.
